Job # 2096 Candidate will perform work on in-house developments, upgrades, and modernization projects for multiple indoor anechoic chambers, Radome test facilities, and outdoor Radar Cross Section (RCS)/ compact test ranges. Candidate must be a practical hands-on engineer with a background in antenna testing, RCS testing, radome testing, RF systems, positioning systems, transmitters, receivers, fiber optics, and equipment control and data processing. Candidate should be familiar with LabVIEW software for equipment control and data processing, User Interface (UI) development, system installation, system integration, system documentation, and training of system operators. Candidate will also support test ranges with test procedure development, test planning, test execution, troubleshooting, and repair. Other duties include Bid and Proposal, and general engineering support. Candidate should be familiar with GPIB, Ethernet or IEEE 488 standards, however this is not mandatory. You must know instrumentation and electromagnetic theory Education Bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering or other closely related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Personal Traits The position requires an independent, self-motivated, hands-on engineer able to work in a variety of field conditions on many different technologies as well as the ability to work well in a dynamic team environment. Minimum Experience Required 4-5 years experience in electrical test engineering including a minimum of 2 years experience with test range operations. Thorough knowledge of standard microwave test instruments (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, etc.) required.
